The location of the building is ideal for those who often go to downtown, as the Castello is within walking distance of the downtown core, the restaurants and shops on 17th, and the C-Train and bus service. This 19 storey tower is certainly attractive. It houses 106 one and two bedroom units, with the majority featuring large corner balconies. The suites in the upper floors offer terrific views of the Mount Royal community, downtown and the Beltline. Castello condos are very spacious, and include floor to ceiling windows and fine interior furnishings. The penthouses offer 10 ft. ceilings, while the other standard suites have 9 ft. high ceilings.
On the 20th floor is a lovely, well-maintained rooftop patio. Two high speed elevators take residents right from the underground parking lot all the way to the patio. Each of the condominiums at Castello is provided with an indoor parking stall and a storage locker. The two penthouse owners, however, are allocated two storage lockers. Access to the parking lot is from the rear of the building with a maximum height of 6’10”. The residents’ parking is secured by an electronic gate. Car owners can use the in-house car wash bay to have their vehicles cleaned.
Other amenities include a central air conditioning system that keeps residents cool, and a guest suite on the main floor that can be rented. A fitness room with state-of-the-art equipment and a television set is available for use by the residents on the main floor. A social room is also located on the main floor, and is accessible by reservation.
