Bayview is one of southwest Calgary's wealthiest neighbourhoods. Bayview real estate offers beautiful views of the Glenmore Reservoir and easy access to recreational opportunities at the Glenmore Reservoir such as boat docks, Weaslehead Flats, hiking trails, Glenmore Park and Heritage Park Historical Village. This neighbourhood was annexed by the City of Calgary in the mid 1950's but wasn't developed into a residential community until the late 1960s. Bayview students attend both separate and public schools in the area.
