Northeast Calgary Homes & Condos
The NE Calgary real estate market is home to several high-end communities that feature a nice selection of new homes. Northeast Calgary also has the most affordable properties for families in the city. Buyers will find terrific deals right now on mid-century houses and ranchers, bungalows, condos, new construction and single family homes in Northeast Calgary.
In addition to the wealth of new construction here, there are also a number of mature communities in this quadrant. Bridgeland, Renfrew and Mayland Heights offer residents easy access to the city and have a great selection of homes that were built in the first half of the 20th century, while Coral Springs is a well-planned lakeside community. Newer NE Calgary condos and homes can be found in neighbourhoods like Taradale, Martindale, and Saddleridge.
Residents of Northeast Calgary have access to major arteries for quick commutes and good public transit. The C-Train runs from downtown all the way to the new McKnight-Westwinds station, which is near Castleridge, Martindale, Taradale and Saddleridge. The city plans to extend the line into Martindale and Saddleridge by 2011.
