Fall is a very colorful season. The weather starts to cool down and the leaves start to change colors. Everything about fall is enjoyable. The problem is that fall follows summer and it is also a time when stress starts to build. When it comes to mountain activities, it just makes sense that hiking would be on the list. Obviously, this would be an activity for someone who is a little on the physically fit side. After a hike (or if hiking wasn’t for you) consider spending a day at the spa. A spa might seem like a given as far as ways to relax go, but it is unfortunate how many people underestimate its capabilities to help.
The key to making a day at the spa relaxing is to make sure it is just a day for you. Avoid inviting friends and family members if you can help it. As much as you love them, they tend to add to your stress and it would defeat the purpose of your spa day.
Stretching and Breathing
Not all forms of relaxation activities needs to cost money. They also do not have to be physically exerting. When was the last time you just stopped and took a few deep breaths? Stop, stretch, and give your body a real chance to relax.
