What Should You Know About the Skyline Luge?

Earlier this summer, the second Skyline Luge opened its doors to the public in Calgary. This Skyline Luge can be found in the WinSport's Olympic Park in Calgary. If you are going to take a trip to this Skyline Luge, it is a good idea to take the time to learn a little more about it. Being well-informed is always the best approach.

You Have Control over the Speed

Skiing and bobsledding can be scary for someone who has never done it before. You glide down the hill, continue to go faster and faster, and you have no idea how to stop, slow down, or maintain control. This is the beauty of going to the Skyline Luge.

You will be sitting in a car that was created to be both easy to stop and easy to steer. You have complete control of how fast you go, which direction you go, and when you stop. You get to decide just how much fun you want the ride to be.

It is Open Every Day During the Summer

This summer you can enjoy the Skyline Luge any day of the week from the months of July to August. Just because summer ends, does not mean the luge is going to close either. September hours have already been posted.

During the week, you can enjoy the luge from 1PM to 7PM. On Saturday and Sunday, you can enjoy the luge from 10AM to 7PM. It has been noted that hours are subject to change if the weather is bad or if it is really dark outside.

Are you interested in checking out the Skyline Luge? You can save money by bringing friends and family members with you! It cost $13 for a single adult to go on the Skyline. You also have the option of paying $35 and getting five rides instead of one! You can even bring a kid with you for an extra $3.
