Eight Different Stages
This is a yearly event that is held on Kensington Road and 10the Street North West. There will be eight different stages set up for entertaining. Entertainment will vary, but will provide music that you can dance to. There will be rap battles, culture-dancing, street performers, and a lot more. One of the stages is even powered by a bike.
There will be an area devoted just to kids. Here you can make a hula hoop, maraca, play games, indulge in a cupcake walk, and loads of other kid friendly activities. Try out all the different types of salsa, while lounging on one of the 11 patios available. You can stroll through shops, as well as check out the vendors and artists that are set up at the Sun and Salsa Festival.
During this festival, Kensington Road and 10th street will be shut down. You will not have to worry about traffic, only enjoy the festival and all it provides.
