If you're finding that your kids are getting a bit bored this summer, you may want to check out the summer camp fun that is being offered by the Calgary Zoo. There are exciting zoo camps that are running up until August 22 for children of all ages. Best of all, you'll know that your children are definitely going to have an experience at this camp surrounded by all types of animals.

Art Camp

This camp runs from 8:30 AM until 4 PM and accommodates children from grades 1 to 3 and grades 4 to 6. Kids will have a chance to do art and be inspired by the animal setting. Children will also be able to meet and possibly touch some small animals.

Youth Wildlife Teen Workshop

Teens that are interested in animal care or zoology should explore this opportunity to find out more about wildlife conservation and animal behavior. At this workshop, teens can meet a zoo veterinarian at the Animal Health Centre and ask questions about a zoology career path.

Zoo camps

These camps will be divided into 4 different age ranges and will include animal visits, games, activities, stories, crafts and interpretive programs.

Zoo Tots

This is the perfect program for children aged 4 to 6. These camps run for half days and include animal visits, crafts, zoo walkabouts, stories, songs, games and other activities.

With each registration participants will receive a special summer Calgary Zoo camp hat. Aftercare and boxed lunches are available for an additional price at the time of booking. If you're looking for a camp that will inspire your children this summer, the zoo offers creative and educational camp packages that your kids will absolutely love!
