UNA Pizza & Wine is a Californian-inspired neighbourhood restaurant. If you are like most newcomers, you do not know UNA means; A in Italian, as in a pizza place. The management decided it would be easy to pronounce and fun to say. All ages are welcome to visit and taste the special flavours from the south of Italy, France, and Spain. It will be a culture history lesson in disguise and a lot more fun.

Let the staff be aware if you have food allergies because the menu is made to order. The safe and clean work environment is aware of cross-contamination issues and safeguard against them. UNAs menu can also be made gluten-free, including the delicious desserts. The pizza crust can also be gluten-free and are provided by Care Bakery, a gluten-free establishment.

However, remember our restaurant does not make reservations. The first-come, first-serve policy works well. The staff will take your name and telephone number; giving you an approximate time for table availability. In some cases during rush times, such as the weekend, it could be up to a two-hour wait.

When the restaurant is full, it is suggested to visit a sister restaurant, Ox and Angela, or another neighbour for a glass or wine or beer in the vestibule while you wait. Our staff will call when your table is ready. Lunch hours do not usually have a wait-time except on Saturday or Sunday.

UNA is part of the Belt-line community and believes its guests should come anytime, for anything, and visit as long as they like. The excellent wine list will highlight the small producers whose emphasis is on quality.

UNA is a small restaurant with a big Californian inspired heart. Bring your family, friends, or significant other for a meal you will not soon forget.

The restaurant is located at 618 17 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2S 0B4, Canada. Operational hours are seven days a week from 11:30 am until 1 am. The telephone is 403.453.1183
