This is promising to be the one event in 2015 that you simply won't want to miss. Jane Goodall is coming to town for her speaking event called Beyond the Jungle and will be offering a sneak peek behind the scenes with the animals that we are sharing the world with.

Come and find out more about the intricate relationship between animals and humans and how even small changes we make can make a difference in our world. Jane Goodall has been studying the animal-human connection for 50 years and will be talking about the changes that she has seen during this time. Following the event a question-and-answer session will be held.

The earnings from this event will help support the Jane Goodall Institute and will also highlight and benefit the Meow Foundation, the Alberta Spay Neuter Task Force and the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society.

Vets to Go is organizing this presentation that is meant to inspire the next generation. Jane Goodall is now 80 years old and has realized that it's urgent to get children more involved. In order to get kids to realize the importance of the human/animal connection, Vets to Go has initiated an artwork contest called the Roots and Shoots Artwork Contest. Winners will get to meet Jane Goodall in person and will also receive a scholarship. There will be six winners chosen by Jane Goodall herself.

The event will be held on April 8, 2015 at 7 PM at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. This is a great chance to meet with the globally recognized scientist who is considered to be the foremost expert on chimpanzees and is the perfect opportunity to find out what Jane Goodall would like the next generation to accomplish.
