Ramsay - is another SE inner city community bound north by Canadian Pacific Railway Mainline, east by the CRP tracks, south by the CPR tracks and 26 Avenue and west by the Elbow River. The Bow River and the Calgary Zoo is located just north of the community. Two schools are in the area, one public and one separate. Ramsey is a mix of older homes, newer infill homes and some industrial areas. The community organizes numerous events throughout the year and the residents are very involved in regenerating the older community. Scotsman Hill is located on the western part of the area providing views of the Pengrowth Saddledome and excellent views of the river and the city as well as the fireworks during the Calgary Stampede.
