Play Calgary Hide and Seek to Win an iPad!

Remember when you were a kid and there was no greater thrill than playing hide and seek? There you were, hiding around a corner while you watched your friend search for you in the wrong place? Each second it got harder and harder to suppress that giggle of glee you felt at being able to outsmart the other person. So fun, right?

Well now you can have that feeling again, but this time you get more than just the satisfaction of knowing you are clever when it comes to identifying the perfect hiding place. This time, the prizes are much, much better! Playing hide and seek the Justin Havre way means you can win a Starbucks gift card or an iPad!
Now that we have your attention, let us explain the rules; there are two ways to win:
1. Take an awesome picture of a place in Calgary, it can be a building, natural setting, whatever you want. Then, upload the photo to our site with a description of what it is and where you took it.
2. Have a look at the image on the homepage of the contest site and write a caption describing where you think the picture was taken. Be creative, tell us about the area, what to do there, and any other little interesting tidbits of info you can come up with. Really go for it and make the caption as entertaining as you can- but keep it PG!
Sounds easy, right? That's because it is! Every two weeks, we will reward the photographer and the best picture respectively with a Starbucks gift card. AND THEN, every three months, we'll give away an iPad to one lucky person who has blown us away with their talent!
What's that you say? It seems like Justin must be pretty awesome if he's willing to give away iPads just for takling pictures or writing captions about the beautiful city of Calgary? Well, you would be right, but I digress...
So what are you waiting for? Get your cameras out and go explore our amazing city! And spread the word: tell your mom, your dad, your cousins, your neighbours and anyone else you can think of. After all, there's nothing like a little friendly competition to really get those creative juices flowing! In a few short weeks, you could have a brand new iPad to help you show off your photographic prowess (rawr!) and you'll need an audience for your slideshow.
Happy snapping,
Justin
