The Calgary Police has recently launched a new online tool for Calgarians to learn about crime in their community.

The CPS has created a tool that explores and charts crime in all Calgary Communities. By selecting a specific neighbourhood that you live in or one that you are thinking about moving to, you can find out the types of crimes committed, where they happened and when they occurred.

I do think that this is a great tool for those people that are not very familiar with Calgary and our city's communities and it may help a buyer to choose what community is more suitable for them. We do live in a big city with over one million people and there will be crimes in every community. That is an fact that we have to live with but some communities have less crime than others.
